When a leak behind this wall caused water damage in this Tampa home, the homeowner brought in SERVPRO. The technicians extracted the water and then used their advanced moisture detection equipment to determine the scale of the loss without opening up unnecessary areas of the wall. The techs removed the baseboards and cut out the loss areas in the sheetrock to open up the wall for extraction, drying, and the needed repairs. The removal of the insulation was necessary for complete drying. As seen in the After Photo, the wall has clean flood cuts and both an air mover and dehumidifier to rapidly eliminate the moisture.
